Krispey Kreme Kitkat Donuts

These KitKat laden donuts are like all of krispey kremes candy inspired creations- cloyingly sweet and ultimately one note. The cookie dough creme filled one ranks highest. However it still fell short of the ideal. It wasn't helped by the fact that we also purchased probably the freshest and hottest original glazed that we ate first. Then the Salted caramel KitKat brownie at least had some salty notes to counteract the sweet. The chocolate KitKat crunch was just a chocolate donut with some stale KitKat pieces on top.
